In the home of the old Dottie's, the Hyde Restaurant adds to the growing dining scene of Cleary Square in Hyde Park. Opened on Feb. 2nd, The Hyde and it's Chef/Owner Brian Roskow, aims to offer it's customers a fresh and upscale diner environment. Replete with a menu of artisanal beers and local ingredients, Brian is a classically trained Chef that has spent the last 27 years cooking up and down the East Coast. This family run old world style Italian deli is the best of its kind in the Boston area. The atmosphere of this spacious and bright two floor locale calls to mind a homey Irish pub; an inviting staff greets patrons at the door. Their upscale pub menu features a moules frites section offering several style of each that can be paired or ordered individually, appetizers, and entrees. Selections range from new twists on pub classics, like a rethought Shepherd's Pie and a Waygu beef burger, to a more traditional fish and chips plate. The proprietors believe in the melding of fine beers, as well as wines, with food. To this end, there is an extensive draft and bottle beer selection that is updated constantly.
